I've finally decided to start working on my drawing. I've always hated that I pretty much suck at drawing, especially at drawing people, and yesterday I decided that enough was enough, and started putting a pencil to paper. I'm drawing in an anime/manga style, I've always loved it since I got into anime, and even though it's supposedly a really hard style to draw, I'll muscle through it.

After five combined hours, I've managed to finish the first drawing of a person that I've ever been satisfied with. I'll scan it and put it up tomorrow, after I run it through Paint.NET.

So, yeah. I'll probably be doing some more in the near future. My goal is to be able to draw a satisfying portrait in under an hour by the end of the summer. By that, I essentially want to be able to doodle in my notebook during class, drawing cute anime girls talking in Japanese, while drawing even better art (with shading and maybe even color (*gasp*)) in my free time. I'm such a damn otaku.
